Potty training, with a plan.
The first app that walks you through a method, tracks your child's progress, and tells you exactly what to do when things go wrong.
Free β’ 2 minutes β’ Based on pediatric research
The part nobody warns you about
You picked a method. Then you hit a wall.
You started because someone said it was time. You picked a method from a blog or a book, hit a wall after week one, then spent a month on Reddit asking "is this normal?" When the regression came on day 18, nothing told you it was expected. You were on your own, again.
The book
Tells you the method, but has no way to track where you actually are or what your numbers mean.
Every other app
Logs accidents without telling you what they mean or what to do next.
Pottle is the bridge
The method and the tracking, finally in one place: a guide that knows what phase you're in, and a specific next step when accidents happen.
A note from the founder
"With a stack of potty-training books read and a bunch of toddlers around me, I kept noticing the same thing: the method and the tracking live in completely different places. So you read a book in one hand, fumble for a notes app with the other, and spend every evening on Reddit asking 'is this normal?' I built Pottle so it's finally all in one place."

The journey
Five phases, one clear path
Pottle meets your child at their phase and tells you exactly when to move to the next one β based on their numbers, not a guess.
1Week 1
Bare bottom
Nothing on the bottom. Your child learns to read the body's signal.
2Week 1β2
Commando
Pants, no underwear. Same awareness, with clothes back on.
3Week 2β3
Undies
Real underwear. The transition that makes it feel official.
4Week 3β4
Out & about
Leaving the house, car trips, and holding it in the wild.
5Month 2+
Naps, then nights
The long tail. Dry days first, then dry sleep β on its own timeline.
What's inside
A guide that knows where you are, not just a log
Here's what the app actually looks like, screen by screen.
Daily guide
A plan for today, not a 200-page book
Each phase explains what's normal right now, what to watch for, and exactly when your child is ready to move on. You open the app and know your one job for the day.
- Today's single focus, in plain language
- "Totally normal right now" so you stop second-guessing
- Clear signal when it's time for the next phase

Daily log
A 10-second entry that actually means something
Tap a few counters and you're done. Accidents, successes, dry stretches β logged in seconds and turned into a real read on whether you're trending the right way.
- Big tappable counters, no typing required
- Optional note when something's worth remembering
- Gentle framing: accidents are data, not failure

Progress
The trend, not a guilt-inducing score
The chart tells you whether you're heading in the right direction. When the numbers say your child is ready, Pottle tells you it's time for the next phase β so you never have to guess.
- Seven-day success-vs-accident view at a glance
- Plain-language insight, like "you're ready for Phase 2"
- Self-initiation and dry mornings tracked automatically

When things wobble
The Regression Protocol
When training falls apart, Pottle rules out medical causes first, finds the likely trigger β a recent change, constipation, or withholding β and gives you a matched recovery plan. It tracks whether the plan is working. Most regressions resolve in 5 to 10 days.
- Medical red flags ruled out before anything else
- Root-cause questions, not generic advice
- A recovery plan that adapts as you log

From "is she even ready?" to done
Three steps, start to finish
Take the readiness quiz
Eight signs from pediatric readiness research, two minutes, no account. You get a score and a realistic start window β not a vague "every child is different."
Follow your phase, day by day
Daily check-ins tell you today's focus, what's normal right now, and when your child's numbers say it's time for the next phase.

Questions parents actually ask
FAQ
What method does Pottle use?
The guide is built on the child-led readiness framework from pediatric potty training research, synthesizing the practical phase structure from the most popular parent-trusted approaches. It covers readiness assessment, bare bottom, clothing transition, nighttime dryness, and full independence. It is not affiliated with any single book or author.
We already started. Can I jump in mid-training?
Yes. During onboarding you pick the phase you're currently in, and the app meets you where you are. Not sure which phase that is? The readiness assessment will place you.
My co-parent or daycare is doing something different. Can we sync?
Multi-caregiver sync is coming soon. We're building a Caregiver Briefing: a one-page summary of the method, your current phase, and this week's specific rules, formatted to hand to daycare or email to grandparents. For now, you can share your child's Roadmap card with anyone who needs to be on the same page.
What happens when we hit a regression?
The Regression Protocol is one of the core features. When you log a regression, the app first rules out medical causes, then asks a few quick questions to find the likely cause (a recent change, possible constipation, or poop withholding) and gives you a matched recovery plan. Most regressions resolve in 5 to 10 days, and the app tracks whether itβs working.
How long does this take, and how long do I need the app?
Most children complete all phases in 4 to 12 weeks. Billing reflects that: cancel anytime, no long-term commitment. If you want to keep going for nighttime dryness (often 2 to 3 months after daytime training), your subscription simply stays active.
