Terms of Service

Last updated: June 17, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Pottle at pottleapp.com and the Pottle app (the "Service"). When you create an account or use the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Who can use it

You must be at least 18 and a parent or guardian to use Pottle. By using the Service you confirm that the information you give is accurate and that you're responsible for what happens under your account.

The Service

Pottle gives first-time parents a phase-based potty-training guide, a readiness quiz, progress tracking, and regression guidance. We work to keep it available and reliable, but we provide it on an "as is" and "as available" basis and may change, pause, or drop features at any time.

Not medical advice

Pottle is an educational and organizational tool, not a medical service. Its content and guidance are general information, not a substitute for professional medical, pediatric, or psychological advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always talk to a qualified healthcare provider about your child's health and development, and never ignore or delay professional advice because of something you read here. You follow the guidance at your own discretion and risk.

Your account

You sign in with Google or a one-time email code. Keeping your account secure is your responsibility, and so is everything done under it. Tell us promptly at support@pottleapp.com if you think someone else has access.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you record in the Service: progress notes, quiz answers, photos, and the like. You give us a limited license to store and process that content only to run the Service for you, as set out in our Privacy Policy. You're responsible for what you provide and confirm you have the right to provide it.

Subscriptions and billing

Pottle offers paid subscriptions: a monthly plan and a yearly plan. Dodo Payments processes payments for us. When you subscribe, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method at the current price, plus any applicable taxes, until you cancel. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. Prices can change, and we'll give reasonable notice before a change affects your renewal.

Cancellations and refunds

You can cancel anytime from the customer portal linked in your account. When you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period and doesn't renew after that. Payments you've already made are non-refundable, and we don't give refunds or credits for partial periods, except where the law requires it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful, or abusive.
  • Upload illegal content or anything that infringes someone else's rights.
  • Disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or break into the Service.
  • Resell or copy the Service or its content without our permission.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its content, guides, software, branding, and design, belongs to Pottle or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property law. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it for your own personal, non-commercial use. These Terms don't hand any of our rights to you.

Third-party services

The Service depends on third parties such as Google, Dodo Payments, and Amazon Web Services. Your use of those services may be governed by their own terms, which we're not responsible for.

Disclaimers and liability

As far as the law allows, the Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, and we disclaim all implied warranties. We don't promise the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will produce any particular result for your child. To the extent the law allows, Pottle isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using the Service and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or use the Service in a way that puts others, or us, at risk. Terms that should outlast the agreement, such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability limits, keep applying.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above and give reasonable notice of significant changes. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
